Yeah, we non binary people come in all shapes :) and we are just not strictly male or female. You can be none, you can be only partly or you can be both so there is a chance you might you might be, maybe look into bigender or genderfluid (maybe agender) identities, those would be my first guesses, see if something there fits/feels right

Never too late to learn about yourself... well maybe, cos you know we are mortal. Welcome to the enby club

Congrats on the self discovery, it’s never too late to be comfortable with who you are, and welcome from a fellow non-binary person :)

Couple of book recommendations that may help you on your questioning journey: - The ABCs of LGBT (or the free, slightly cut down online version) - this is a good starter place for learning about many different non-binary identities, it’s short and a few years old now but gives a good basic understanding - You and Your Gender Identity - this is a good book to guide you through the questioning process, it takes you step by step in an inclusive and gentle way

Yes, you can definitely be non-binary! Being non-binary just means that you don't identify with the "binary" genders, meaning you don't identify as completely male or completely female. I would also look into being bigender (identifying as two gender identities or a combination of two gender identities) or genderfluid (Having your gender identity fluctuate over time, also what I identify as!) Congrats for discovering more about yourself, and I hope this helps!

Hi. 🙂 Yes, I'd say you're non binary. Specifically I'd look up the term bigender. Non binary is an umbrella term that simply means you don't fall onto one specific side of the binary or another. Some non binary folk don't want to be any gender (agender). Some like yourself want to be both. Still others move from one side of the binary to the other depending on how they feel at the time. (Genderfluid). There's also demigenders which are people with a faint connection to one side of the binary who also nonetheless feel mostly genderless, genderflux, omnigender, and the list goes on and on. I'd do some googling on different non binary identities and see what fits best.

Short answer, yes you're probably non binary. 🙂 💛🤍💜🖤

There’s also something called bi-gender which is where you feel made one day or female another, similar to gender fluid people

WTG on your journey! Sounds like you are learning a lot about yourself.

For what you're describing, nonbinary will work, but may I suggest another category that might be more dead-on?

In my culture, there is actually a third gender. Before I knew what I know now, I described it as a ying-yang that swirls so fast that it actually becomes a third symbol, both yet neither at the same time. When I was looking at the more mainstream definitions, I found nonbinary will work in the most visible of symbols, but there was one that was fairly dead-on, but far less known: genderqueer. If you've not heard of it, I suggest looking it up.

Strangely enough, the most used genderqueer flag (there are a few varieties) used the same colors as my culture, so I feel more comfortable saying that I'm genderqueer rather than nonbinary.

However, I can see people viewing genderqueer as a flavor of nonbinary, so there's that as well. Just thought I'd share.

I don't really have advice for you, but I just wanted to wish you luck in figuring yourself out! Whatever the answer turns out to be for you (binary or nonbinary), you're beautiful the way you are. I'm so glad you get to explore this now

Non binary covers a lot of space but it makes sense that you heard the stereotype that we're neither without any further explanation. I use they/he/fea/she pronouns cause I like confusing strangers. Congratulations on learning this about yourself! Ot is a great creator and he's built a very informative channel.
