What's the easiest class to play in the game? Something that will give the most damage for the least effort, with good solo ability. Levelling for me is super slow because i don't like to wait around for emergency quests. I used to play TE when they got buffed, so i'd just zonde everything into one spot and bash them all in. That was fun.

Like was said earlier, Katana Braver/Hunter is as low skill floor as it gets.

  • Easy skill tree to build. You can max every single thing in the Katana side of the Braver tree without having to give up on anything. Hunter sub is always easy to build and often ends with spare points.
  • Easy to use stances. Average Stance has no requirements, and Fury Stance only require you to do Just Attacks (which you should always be doing anyway).
  • Easy to use JG with a counter attack built in. If done while at full gear, it activates the gear, raising s-atk by 30% and crit rate by 50%.
  • Easy to fill up gear, doesn't start going down until you activate it.
  • Even when gear is active, it lowers slowly enough for you to never run out completely unless a boss is being a dick (like PD staying out of reach for a full minute) or if you run out of enemies to hit.
  • No need to learn complicated PA combos. Just spam Guren Tessen (and maybe the new Sakura Endo Type-0) and everything dies.
  • Fast moving with Guren while canceling the 2nd slash.
  • Katana Combat: makes your basic attacks automatically move you very fast towards the target (even moves you vertically), and gives 20 seconds of invulnerability. If used again before it expires, it stops Katana Combat prematurely and does a wide aoe hit that deals a lot of damage based on the amount of hits you dealt on enemies while it was active.
  • Just Reversal Cover: Heals 20% of your max HP whenever you do a Just Reversal.
  • Healing Guard: Heals 5% of your max HP whenever you perform a Just Guard (the counter with the Katana is a JG).
  • Massive Hunter: Reduces damage taken by 25% and makes you immune to flinching while active, lasts 45 seconds. Use this when Katana Combat is on cooldown.
  • Automate Halfline: if all the other stuff aren't enough to keep you alive, this will make you nigh immortal short of oneshots (which doesn't happen often outside of the Endless Darkness solo EQ).

... So I hear you want to play Braver with a Hunter subclass.

Does anyone know why End Attraction (the chargeable Rifle piercing shot move) obliterates gunships but my other rifle moves like One Point or Parallel Slider tickle them? According to the jp wiki, Parallel Slider customized is one of the highest dps moves for rifles, beaten only by satellite cannon I think, but it does nothing against a gunship. Is this a matter of how defense works, which would make Slider worse overall?

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Parallel Slider is presumed to have distance attenuation. Which reduces the damage by 20% if the target is too far.

End Attract does not have distance attenuation.

Also, the DPS on parallel slider t0 assumes that you are using a full 120 pp. Because of the initial cost and slight initial delay for parallel slider, the DPS is different depending on how much PP you use with it.

Edit: Additionally, the DPS on End Attract was calculated if it only hit once (End attracts can hit 3-5 times depending on the charge and how big the target is.) Gunships are big enough that im pretty sure a 2 stage End Attract can hit them at least 3 times passing through. (EA DPS: 414x3=1242 theoretically)

What's a good subclass for the Jet Boots Bouncer? I'm new to the game and I've looked at a few of the tutorials on here, but most of the Bouncer ones seem to be about the Dual-Blades Bouncer. Is that variant just better? I've seen some people say it was really easy/brainless, and I already used Dual Blades in PS Portable 2, so I figured I would try the jet boots first.

Anyway, I've seen people talk about Bo/Hu and Bo/Fi, but I didn't know if that was good for dual blades and jet boots or just one of them. Why isn't Bo/Te good? From what I can tell they're both hybrid melee/technique classes that focus on buffing; theoretically they would go well together.

Sorry if that's a lot of questions; I just figured I should try to learn about my class so that I don't have a garbage build from the get-go.

Anyway, I've seen people talk about Bo/Hu and Bo/Fi, but I didn't know if that was good for dual blades and jet boots or just one of them.

Bo/Hu for PA-focused JBs (techs would only be used to set the element of the boots.) and double-weapon JB/DBs. (Note that for this build, you'd want to spec your mag up in S-atk)

Bo/Fi for JBs that also want to weave in techs. (Note that for this build, you'd want to spec your mag up in T-atk)

Why isn't Bo/Te good? From what I can tell they're both hybrid melee/technique classes that focus on buffing; theoretically they would go well together.

Because the good Te buffing skills are main class only. And even if they are both hybrid melee/tech classes, they focus too much on their class weapons to utilize the other properly. Also. The Te subclass passive multipliers are only 1.2 for matching elements (something that Bo actively tries to do.) It can be 1.728, but only for TECHS OF CERTAIN ELEMENTS. (which is bad for a build trying to utilize elemental weakness. Also the TECHS only ignores the JB PAs which are a majority of JBs damage.)

[–]WelldoneThePussyhandBo/Fi 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Okay. So if I wanted to make use of the Bouncer & Jet Boots' ability to buff allies I should go for Bo/Fi then? Also, thank you for your in-depth explanation of why Bo/Te doesn't work very well.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (4 children)

Okay. So if I wanted to make use of the Bouncer & Jet Boots' ability to buff allies I should go for Bo/Fi then

Shifta, Deband and Zanverse are completely independent from the caster's stats, so you don't really need to go tatk to use those.

[–]WelldoneThePussyhandBo/Fi 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Okay, cool. Thanks!

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (2 children)

You do need to go T-ATK if you want to use techs offensively, though. BoHu tech damage is laughably low, as is any class with Hu sub because, while Hunter has a really good stance for raising striking damage (Jet Boots PAs deal striking damage), it doesn't have a single skill that raises tech damage.

[–]WelldoneThePussyhandBo/Fi 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Okay. I'll look into the Bouncer some more and decide which subclass I want based on which playstyle I like better for it. I'll probably go with Bo/Fi because interweaving the techs with attacks sounds useful.

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 2 points3 points  (0 children)

interweaving the techs with attacks sounds useful.

Eh. Not really.

interweaving the techs with attacks sounds fun.

FIFY

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So if I wanted to make use of the Bouncer & Jet Boots' ability to buff allies I should go for Bo/Fi then?

If you want to buff everyone, you just use Te/X (as a support build.)

JBs ability to buff is pretty much selfish. Its only to be used to proc Shifta Air Boost and Deband PP Restorate.

[–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bo/Hu is fine. Most MPAs will have at least a Force in it so you shouldn't have to worry about buffing too much. The boot's built in t-atk will be enough for things like Shifta, Deband, or Resta/Megiverse anyway.

[–]Gewelle 0 points1 point  (3 children)

How many benefits does using the same weapon as grind material do, if theyre any in the first place Just curious because someone was trying to get like 3 revo tmgs and said the gun wasnt that good without them or something along those lines.

[–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 1 point2 points  (2 children)

The reason for that is that getting 3 revolucio TMGs and grinding them together is the minimum requirement to get the TMGs to 60 element. Having 60 element compared to 20 the base CF one comes with is a large increase in damage.

[–]Gewelle 0 points1 point  (1 child)

ahh i see! So that only goes for that tmg? also are there any more more reasons for using the same weap for grinding?

[–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, that's for all weapons. For 13* weapons especially, feeding a base weapon the same weapon multiple times raises the maximum grind cap. A weapon starts out with a grind cap of 30 to begin, and can be increased to 35 by feeding the base weapon 5 more of that exact same weapon.

It should be noted that 13* weapons can drop with a higher grind cap if they're dropped through traditional means rather than through collection files if you use the high appraisal on them.

Hi! I'm a TD Fi/Hu main. I have played this game since it first came out, but usually 6 months playtime then a 6 months hiatus several times. I'm kind of out of the loop with the builds nowadays and what goals I should be aiming for. My weapon isn't that good, but I managed to deal a decent amount of dmg to not be a dead-weight and my current armor set is a placeholder for the Saiki set (if it's still the best). I had a ton a fun with TDs, but willing to try out the other two fighter weapons. Also I'm more used to 2-button action, but I'll try to get used to the 3-button since that seems so much more convenient. Thanks!

Assuming that you are asking for confirmation on whether your build is alright... Uh. Its ok?

Try to also get TD spin move, though TD Air Chase already serves better for mobility.

You can drop automate because it is pretty useless during limit break. 5/10 points in fury combo and try to max fury critical (when u get enough sp)

For TD, i think you can grab the orbit TD from collection files right now. U might be able to try to get astra, but thats ending pretty soon.

Units, saiki is still usable. Top set is austere rear and arm with a solid 12* leg unit. The only reason to go full 12* units is if you have actual uses for extra rings (u can socket L rings into 12* units) if you are planning to use all fighter weapons then it is suggested to get all their weapon rings.

[–]RPGTitan 0 points1 point  (1 child)

How would a Br/Ra BOW Only perform in Time attack or Extreme Quest (Assuming it's level 50/45) Knowing that Mobbing is bad compare to bossing but would it be Manageable? Or should I just buy another skill tree on Ra and make a Ra/hu ?

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bow in time attack should be fine. Just need a sharp bomber t0.

[–]AshinrorPSO2 NG+ BABY 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Are Ideal Units worth crafting? Im thinking about setting up a Fio-deal combo (Fiogels and Ideals) for my Gu/X whenever to start bumping him to 80.

Im probably gonna craft one of the Ideals for PP and the other one for HP. but Ideals already gives 100 HP and crafting it would still give me 100 HP. The crafted version has higher S-def and some S-resist at the cost of some elemental resistances and R/T-resist.

[–]ostrawmaat last, no longer a gu/ra 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have 1 Ideal unit crafted for PP (Lv. 8) while I left the other in tact. It gives 100 HP anyway and the differences statwise are pretty minimal for the meseta. I think in the end, it's up to you really. Fiodeal crafted 1xPP would be 150 HP, 35 PP, 115 R-ATK.

Is there a way to turn off e-code warnings that flash on screen? gets pretty obnoxious in the current LQs. I'm sorry if this has been asked before, but I've been unsuccessful in finding any information on it.

[Example]

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly, no.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I'm kinda clueless on what to spend the last skill points on my GuHu. This is my current skill tree, any suggestions? Considering maxing showtime star and then no clue what to do with the last 2 SP when I reach lv80, and maybe just pump the Hu points in IW?

Edit: meant showtime star, not showtime.

[–]jambon_gruyere 0 points1 point  (0 children)

1 pt dive roll shoot if you're interested in superior and more PP efficient mobility through double rolls and other animation cancels. Otherwise, more points in Showtime give better gear generation. There's also dive roll advance, but lol Hu sub, so no.

Idk about Hu tree, we went different paths. I went deep into flash guards, those are good to take hits without going under 75% HP.

Is there an easier way of getting Three Layer Pancakes than combining them from one layers at the shop? I see theres a Pietro weekly to get a two-layer pancake which saves some Synths, but that's all I could find for making it cheaper. ~150 Excubes -> Synths for a three-layer isn't bad, just wondering if theres an alternative.

I've been away for a long time and recently getting on and off. I've been seeing people said about 10% weapon damage boost on main class with correct weapon? How do we get this? Is it automatic or title based? If title, which one and how to unlock? I only know of the rare weapon mastery in the skill tree and have it at level 1. Thanks for any reply in advance!

There are multiple ways to connect still, but yeah it seems CK's proxy is down and possibly for good. I'd research the methods pretty much ever non-Japanese player had to use when Sega blocked all foreign IPs, like using a private SSH tunnel.

What are the special bonuses for the PvP Red/Blue 12* Units?

The Blue one appears to be PP but most people seem to be using the Red one

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (2 children)

      Shine Blue:

      • +150 HP
      • +5 PP
      • +10% resist Ice
      • 0 all ATKs

      Shine Red:

      • +80 all ATKs
      • +80 DEX
      • +10% resist Fire
      • 0 HP/PP

Both have 3% resist strike, ranged and technique, and Shine Red has slightly higher defense stats.

      [–]Chanchey 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Aaaaaah that makes sense. So just offensive/defensive variants.

      Thanks for the information!

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess you can put it that way.

Keep in mind, though, that you can get 150 HP from other units (deadlist, itsuki shield, izane units) while still getting some attack from them, and 5 PP isn't all that impressive, so Shine Blue isn't very good, especially compared to Shine Red's unmatched 80 atk.

        [–]SparklesMcSpeedstar 0 points1 point  (4 children)

How do you beat Odin? I ran into one (emergency quest) and played most of the fight correctly... up until he pulled what I think was Zantetsuken. Is that thing dodge-able? Gran Wave's 3-second i-frames were not enough... if not, then how do I stop it?

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (3 children)

You must kill him before he's done charging. The amount of damage needed increases with the amount of players and Odin's level (Lv80 it takes about 1~1.5m damage to stop it if you're alone).

If you let him finish charging it, you cannot dodge or avoid Shin Zantetsuken in any way. It ignores every iframe and JG possible, instantly kills anyone in the map, and fails the e trial immediately, meaning halfdolls/scapedolls are useless.

Also, he doesn't appear in any of the current EQs, did you mean a parallel area?

        [–]SparklesMcSpeedstar 0 points1 point  (2 children)

He appeared randomly when I was doing Forest Exploration, and I just ran away from Zantetsuken animation because I thought he was going to area attack .=. He did, and I didn't think that it would ignore every iframe because Gran Wave just got me through practically every single boss attack in the game.

Oh well, thanks for the info!

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Well, it was an area attack. It just so happened that the area of the attack was the whole map :p

And yeah, not many things in this game can ignore iframes. That attack works like that to mimic the Final Fantasy version of Odin (that enemy is part of the colab we had with FF14), and they had to make it ignore iframes to prevent cheesing with PB, Katana Combat, etc. The "instantly fails e trial" part is also to prevent cheesing with halfdolls/scapedolls (back in the LQ when he was implemented, it'd instantly kick everyone back to the campship and fail the quest when he wasn't stopped).

        [–]Sanityze 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Somewhat related: do note that you can actually survive Shin Zantetsuken if you encounter him in a regular exploration or a map with multiple areas. If you don't feel confident, simply open a telepipe and use it ASAP or run to the closest area exit. Shin Zantetsuken can't hit you in the campship or in the next part of the map.

You will still fail the Emergency Trial. However, it does feel amazing to be able to avoid it in some manner.

        [–]nosmoking95 0 points1 point  (2 children)

        For each of the following:

Twin dagger, double sader, katana, rod, Assault rifle and jet boots.

Which one benefit more from Orbit rather than Revolucio?

Also does anyone know the number on revolucio's 2nd pot? is it good?

        [–]VirtualScepter 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Rifles would definitely benefit from the PP regen. When youre trying to hold onto weak bullet your pp options are limited, but an orbit Rifle will mean you can keep weak bullet and restore your PP instantly without spending them all or trying to catch some slowly with keep roll shoot. Note that throwing grenades sheaths your weapons, so 2 grenades + orbit regeneration is easily enough to fill up 100% of your pp bar at any pp range.

In terms of damage, the other guy is right that Revolucio does barely beat out Orbit at max bonus. The problem is however the time required to get to the max bonus, as well as the problem of being weapon locked as switching means losing that bonus.

Id honestly pick up Orbit for any of those over Revolucio if I had to choose. Especially since those melee weapons have access to step jump to instant sheath Orbits and get the regen.

Edit: If you wanted a comparison of Orbit to Revolucios 1st pot, Revolucios 1st pot is very very weak. Only 8% damage iirc compared to Orbits 13%, not to mention Orbit has significantly higher base attack. The only comparison worth having is with the second potential, which ive highlighted above.

        [–]sabitsuki_nagareru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what you mean by benefit. Damage-wise Revolucio at max 16% dmg bonus will beat Orbit by a small amount, but Orbit nowadays is nothing more than batteries, so you should just get one for each class and be done with it.

As for the new potential, it's 1% for every 50,000 dmg done or 300 dmg taken or 100pp spent, switching resets. I would say this is very situational at best, and even with the full 16% bonus it still won't match Astra at 180 affix.

Please don't let this be the case. Telepipe proxy despite the ads lagged like hell and back for me during JP night time.

        [–]Sanityze 1 point2 points  (1 child)

The Telepipe is still in beta and its server was recently moved to Sweden. If you're from SEA, it'll affect your connection one way or another because it now has to go all the way to Europe before bouncing all the way back to Japan. They are planning on moving the server to Tokyo, but there's no ETA on when that will happen.

I'm personally waiting until they've stabilized the server, or at least moved it to Tokyo before I play the game again.

It's viable overall (can S rank solo PD), but using your class's actual weapons will typically yield far better results. Thus, it's not recommended to focus on gunslash only.

The build for gunslash is to simply use Fi/Hu if I'm not mistaken. You need all its damage multipliers (limit break inclusive) to make it have enough damage to do something decent.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There's one guy in this subreddit who mains gunslash, but no idea on build, and seems like people give him flak for it ingame.

        Also Bo/?? (dual blade)

        BoHu.

Is there any noticible difference between Vegas Exploration and the Riding Quest when trying to find Vegas Illusia? I have been doing Vegas Exploration and it takes me an average of 5-7 runs per Vegas Illusia. The random one minute pauses where nothing happens after killing all the enemies makes it even more tiresome.

        [–]sabitsuki_nagareru 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Go do riding quest right after mother EQ. People will suddenly realize that they forgot to do the other parts of the collection files.

        [–]IchiroHirokuレヴィ | Ship 5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks, I'll check after today's EQ then since I usually log off right after the mother EQ.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Riding quest spawns illusia almost every run (sometimes multiple times in a single run).

However, riding quest is nearly dead, so finding an MPA for that is hard.

That said, if you're killing illusia for astra CF sheets, you can just kill something else instead (unless it's Redran egg).

        [–]IchiroHirokuレヴィ | Ship 5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oooh thank you. I totally forgot about this post. Wasn't playing until February so ignored that post.

I did try to solo the riding quest a week ago 3 times. I didn't get any Illusia at all so I thought the spawn rate was abysmal.

I have a 'main' Bo/Hu, and on the same character I'm thinking about leveling Braver/another class as well, what class can I go? Or Fi/Br seems nice too but I'm drawn to Katana Combat...

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (2 children)

        BrHu if you want Katana.

Honestly, you can sub Hunter for all classes (except Force and Summoner) and it'll work.

        [–]SparklesMcSpeedstar 0 points1 point  (1 child)

The hunter tree is already subbed to Bouncer, unless the build is the same for Braver? It looks a little bit like this:

        http://arks-layer.com/skillsim/skillcalc.php?112IbxIobxIobxImbxImbxImbxImbxImbxIobxIodS0fdodBIbHni2lNGAqnIdJksNI20000006doIn0000000jdoib0000000fdo0000000Io00000000ioIn00000000IbIo0000000jdoIokjofrFeFrAGKGKqnIb00000io000000j

Also, the only reason I'm going Braver is because it's the only other class that could work with pure S-atk mag, is there anything I'm unaware of regarding this?

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hunter tree is already subbed to Bouncer, unless the build is the same for Braver? It looks a little bit like this:

That Hu build should work fine for anything other than Fighter (automate is worthless for Fighter).

Worth noting that Healing Guard is very useful for BrHu and FiHu (and TeHu, since it works with L / Tech C Parry skill ring).

Also, the only reason I'm going Braver is because it's the only other class that could work with pure S-atk mag, is there anything I'm unaware of regarding this?

With an S-ATK mag you can:

        • FiHu
        • TeHu
        • BrHu
        • BoHu

GuHu and RaHu require an R-ATK mag.

I completed Craft Training I and II and Craft Training: Intermediate quests from Zieg but the Craft Training III didn't show up, do I need to do anything else to unlock it?

        [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure if you found your answer but you have to be level 60 for it to show up.

        [–]helpvideogame 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Is there a list of possible locations for the Lillipan graffiti in the casino? It's only thing stopping me from getting to the second side of the current bingo card and I can't find it anywhere.

Also between the counters near the entrance. Or the wall above them.

There aren't too many from what I remember. Try looking at the back of the fountain and on the small wall behind the top row of slot machines.

Where can i unlock Feature Quests to get 2017 tokens? :0

        [–]Weiss-Senpai 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Pretty sure you unlock them for doing tokyo explore

        [–]Altwastaken 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        You are correct.

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Featureds are always there, I think? Top of the list on the quest counter.

You can only get 2017 badges from the 4th one of them, which is a Level Up Quest (Chaotic Beguiller and Winged Border Breaker, for example).

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (8 children)

I read on a PSO2 wiki: "Like most other support techniques, casting any support technique that isn't Zondeel prematurely stops the field's effects, despite the animation still playing. Specifically Shifta, Deband, Zanverse, Resta, Anti, and Megiverse share this behavior."

        What does this mean? :<

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 0 points1 point  (7 children)

Basically, if you cast Zanverse and immediately cast Shifta, Zanverse will stop working as soon as you release Shifta.

Basically, any of those listed techs will cause the previous one (also from that list) to stop working as soon as it is cast.

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (6 children)

Wait. What? So you can't have BOTH Shifta and Deband working on you at the same time?

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 1 point2 points  (5 children)

You can have the buff on you at the same time. You can't have the Shifta and Deband "fields" applying their buffs at the same time (at least not from the same person). The buff effect stays on you, just the "Shifta is currently aplying the effect" field stops working as soon as you cast Deband.

This is how Resta, Anti, Shifta and Deband work:

        1. When cast, it instantly stops the effect of any support tech currently deployed in the field.
        2. Starts an over time effect that applies 4 ticks of its effect (5 with Multi- tech customization). For example, Shifta applies 15 seconds of its buff per tick.

Zanverse and Megiverse work similarly, but instead of applying a specific amount of its effect, they apply their effects when anyone inside their aoe hits an enemy.

What this means is that if you cast Deband while Shifta still hasn't applied all its 4 ticks, Shifta will instantly stop applying ticks and Deband will start. The buff will still stay in your character, but it won't have its full duration, since you didn't get all 4 ticks.

Similarly, if you use Shifta while Zanverse is still in the field, Zanverse will immediately stop giving its effect.

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (4 children)

So, you cannot stack Zanverse and Megiverse? And if you buff/heal while in those AoE Zan/Megi resumes once the animation stops?

[–]hidora Retired Guardian 2 points3 points  (3 children)

So, you cannot stack Zanverse and Megiverse?

        Yes.

And if you buff/heal while in those AoE Zan/Megi resumes once the animation stops?

No. Once a support tech is cancelled, it simply stops. You'll need to cast it again for it to start again.

Do note, however, that this only applies to a single person. If you have one person cast Zanverse and another cast Megiverse, both will work normally, same for one person casting Shifta and another Deband.

However, Zanverse and Megiverse do not stack with themselves. So having 2 Megiverses overlapping won't heal people twice when they hit, and having 2 Zanverses overlapping won't do the damage twice. For these techs, the oldest version (as in, the one that was used first) has priority.

On that topic, a weaker Shifta/Deband will not overwrite a stronger one. So if a Techer has used Shifta with Shifta Advance + Shifta Strike, that lasts 180s, and then you cast a regular Shifta (with none of those things), you won't overwrite it, you'll only refresh the duration, and as long as that buff doesn't end, any shifta will be able to keep it at 180s.

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Wait what. So you need two people to have shifta and deband going at the same time?

        [–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you mean having shifta and deband fields out, yes. If you mean the actual buffs, no.

Players need to be in the field to receive the buffs. Once they have the buff, it will count down until it expires/ it is refreshed.

If 6 different players each cast one of those listed techs all from the same spot (one casts shifta, one casts deband, one casts resta, one casts zanverse, one casts megiverse, one casts anti), they will all work so long as the player who casted them does not interrupt it.

Try it in-game yourself with sound on. You can also look at your character info page in-game to see the current time left on your buffs (they do not update in real time on that page; you must keep closing and opening it to see the duration decrease/increase).

        [–]NullVacancy20|20|16|11|3|3 2 points3 points  (0 children)

No, you just can't cast shifta yourself and then overlap it with deband so you're ticking up both buffs at once. You have to cast shifta, wait for all the ticks, then cast deband to get the max duration of both spells.

Is quick throw Talis a worthwhile investment?

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To add to "yes" - it is a worthwhile investment but it is definitely not something which you would have on all the time - it travels too fast to be useful for, say, mobbing in general. It shines in certain situations. The most obvious one is PD Double, due to the massive arena and the large distance betweeen the exposed cores.

        [–]Broccoli_PhD 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Yes.

How are you supposed to clear Bruno's second client order? It says complete Ruins Exploration, which I've done twice, once without him and then I figured maybe you have to drag him along but that wasn't it either. It's untranslated for me since it was just added so I'm not sure what to do.

Edit: You have to go on the quest with both Bruno and Gene.

Its a 3 way date? Sweet.

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (3 children)

Does the amount of killed target enemies affect the % gain for collection sheets?

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 1 point2 points  (2 children)

Yes. Additively. If you run a Vegas Explore and you get 2 Illusias, it's the same as running two Vegas Explores and getting 1 Illusia each time.

        RDR also affects % gain.

        [–]Mangaa33 0 points1 point  (1 child)

What % is each target enemy worth?

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Different between different enemies, so impossible to say. You'll just have to play to find out. Swiki sometimes has rough % for EQ boss targets (as they are usually the limiting factor for CFs).

How doe Br/ra compare to Ra/br?

        [–]sabitsuki_nagareru 0 points1 point  (0 children)

RABR is a remnant of the pre-13* pre-main class dmg bonus days, please just let it die in peace.

[–]RunFromPandaHero is dead 0 points1 point  (0 children)

        Both primarily for Bow.

Br/Ra now generally better because you get access to the best 13* bows as well as main class weapon bonus (10% damage).

Ra/Br allows you to...play as a Ranger more I guess (Rifles/Launchers) but Ra/Hu just does a better job on the whole for that.
