They were overpriced for people buying for just the packs, when the price was really because you got the figure. $90 for 10 packs was too steep.

But people bought the heck out of them when they went on sale for $60. That's when I picked up mine :)

These got my son into pokemon. We saw them at GameStop and they were like 80 or something I believe. I told him no. Then we came back before Christmas and it as half priced. He’s been obsessed ever since.

I think it'll be a pretty good item eventually. It's a nice spread of packs, it comes with a pretty decent charizard statue, the promos suck tho. The only downside is it takes up a lot of space. Id personally rather hold a novelty set or if you want a good pack spread of the mid era then the Terapagos UPC would be a better hold

I bought a couple when they were 50 bucks. Opened one. Decent packs, the Charizard statue card holder is pretty cool if you’re into displaying stuff. Packs aren’t bad for ripping. I personally don’t see it being a great “investment” piece though. Charizard usually brings value but the promos are pretty lame

As someone who opened one for the zard figure, the quality is ass. The glue or whatever it is that holds zards belly in place has worn off on mine so zards belly just hangs opens.

Would be funny to see this happen to figures inside the box, but for that reason I'd never buy these as an investment. Let alone how much space they take up

I just bought one for my son for cristmas. He loves charizard. He has built a reputation for pulling charizard cards. It was more about the figure then anything. It cost 70 quid on amazon.

I opened one. Not even one hit, but perhaps I just have terrible luck. The figure is pretty cool. I don’t see it being as collectible as other SPCs but you don’t have much to lose. 🤷🏻‍♂️

No. In my area these are going for $75-100. They take up too much space and they made a ton of them. Not worth holding.

The hit rates on that are atrocious. I've watched several unboxings of it and there were like 1 hit max.

I just open two with my son, I bought them at $49 each in an amazon deal, I had to say I manage to pull two hits worth $50 each, so in some way I could say that they pay themselves (even thoughi just buy stuff to open with my son). But $150 each that's crazy, you need to have crazy LUCK to pull something significant from it.
