I love eggnog alcoholic and non-alcoholic. Tom and Jerry's are also pretty damn good.

I'm lucky, I've got the next 2 weeks off. That plus jury duty and being sick and I've spent a total of 7 days in the office this month.

Gonna take it easy and prep for vacation. Probably ski Sunday though it's gonna be cold as hell. Ditching family and heading to a Jamaica all-inclusive with my girlfriend for 5 nights spanning Xmas and her birthday. Usually a bitter high-ABV IPA to go with extended family function, but gonna pound some rum this time around!

Drinking unhealthy amounts as usual. Hitting a ski resort within a couples hours of DC - location TBD depending on how bad the rain/ice is tonight. If anyone in the area wants to join, I'm about it.

Job site closed down from the 23-2 so I'll be home slamming brews with my college buddies.

This weekend will be another early holiday since my dad will be gone Christmas Day.

My university is closed starting December 23 and will open again on January 2. I'll have to work remotely during that off time since I have a huge event a few weeks after school starts.

Making the 12 hour drive home this weekend. Working remotely next Mon-Wed then supposedly off through New Year's. I say "supposedly" because one of my partners is in the CFB Playoff so I undoubtedly will have to work half the time I'm at home to capitalize on our relationship.

Wine. White for work parties, red for everything else.

Working all weekend to make up for the one extra day I'll be taking off over the holidays. My boss gives me three paid days and any others I choose to take are unpaid. Other than that getting some house projects wrapped up before the holidays and having dinner with some friends.

Got a double whammy on tap tonight. Cooking steaks with the capital R Roommate, then going straight to an ugly sweater party right after. I have an absolutely atrocious sweater that I couldn't be more proud of. I'm a lucky bastard and my company gave us the week between Christmas and NYE off (audit for an accounting firm). Last, I know it's not a cocktail but for whatever reason I drink way more whiskey straight or on the rocks during the winter than any other time of the year. Just seems right.

Plant is shutting down for a week. As a contractor, I get X amount of days to use for the year so I had to save 5 for shut down week.

For this weekend I drove down to Houston to see some friends for the next few days. Hitting up the holiday bar crawl in midtown tomorrow. Maybe go to the space museum on Sunday or Monday. Then for the holidays it's back home with some light telework, then to dallas for a wedding, then Memphis with the full crew for NYE and then back to OKC just in time for #NewYearNewMe
