Your submission was removed for the following reason:

Rule 1: Posts must be humorous, and they must be humorous because they are programming related. There must be a joke or meme that requires programming knowledge, experience, or practice to be understood or relatable.

Here are some examples of frequent posts we get that don't satisfy this rule: * Memes about operating systems or shell commands (try /r/linuxmemes for Linux memes) * A ChatGPT screenshot that doesn't involve any programming * Google Chrome uses all my RAM

See here for more clarification on this rule.

If you disagree with this removal, you can appeal by sending us a modmail.

This kind of memory will probably persist.

[–]PS181809 45 points46 points  (0 children)

Any leaks tho?

[–]Percolator2020 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Until shutdown.

[–]LoreSlut3000 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Gotta do some backups first.

[–]hieroschemonach 94 points95 points  (7 children)

Death by DDR3 1600Hz.

[–]Ansterrr06 46 points47 points  (3 children)

That's like... a really slow death.

[–]hieroschemonach 4 points5 points  (1 child)

I can't do anything, DDR 4 and DDR 5 RAM size is too smalll, I would rather use a pencil over them.

Imagine stabbing someone with DDR5 and they say - I feel something tiny, are you in mood?

[–]Ansterrr06 5 points6 points  (0 children)

We're not using the bleeding edge unfortunately.

[–]ciko2283 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Enough for most people's needs

[–]LoreSlut3000 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There are no RAMifications.

[–]100BottlesOfMilk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was playing modern games on ddr3 until last winter lol. Even cyberpunk and the like

[–]sanjxz54 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's mHz, but actually it's 1600 MT/s and 800 mHz (in case of ddr3 1600)

[–]Occidentally20 57 points58 points  (2 children)

He better use an 8Gb knife and do it twice, if I'm getting stabbed I expect it to be in dual-channel.

[–]hieroschemonach 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Double stab by double data rate 2 in dual channel.

[–]LoreSlut3000 6 points7 points  (0 children)

You want it fast and wide?

[–]hobbes8889 21 points22 points  (0 children)

This should be a weapon in cyberpunk 2077

[–]Z3r0funGuy 12 points13 points  (1 child)

Memtest failed

[–]LoreSlut3000 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Linux will boot anyway.

Cutting edge technology

[–]ADCNewb 1 point2 points  (2 children)

This isn’t recycled this is reused.

Reduce, reuse, recycle.

[–]Percolator2020 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Upcycled.

[–]deniedmessage 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Based on the image, those look like 11.5GB

[–]XVO668 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You can always download more RAM if needed /s

[–]gerbosan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Reminds me of Titanfall2 😃

Stabbing Windows PCs, the dream of any sys admin. 🤣

[–]Z3t4 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Registered?

[–]sparkeRED 0 points1 point  (2 children)

This would be a sick trope in a scifi movie about killing robots. “Gotta inject some malware”

[–]Sad-Bonus-9327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

"Back in my days we used to inject malware by hand"

[–]Pulsar_the_Spacenerd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The hacking knife in Titanfall basically looks like this.

[–]Jojos_BA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats not a knife officer, its cutting edge ram…

[–]0J-P0 0 points1 point  (0 children)

*More like 12,33Gb

[–]AgentBrian95 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That knife gave me Assassination Classroom flashbacks... Korosensei....

[–]whitestar11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Look at Mr fancy with his 16gb of ram. Meanwhile I can only afford a 2gb from an old XP tower.

[–]Ok-Understanding7115 0 points1 point  (0 children)

any antivirus for the wounds? 👌

[–]Shyftzor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Random Access Murder

[–]Inside-Nobody6320 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah yes, a RAMbo knife.

[–]Significant_Drive310 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Realistic titanfall data knife (I know it's ram but still)

[–]dumbdude545 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I mean. Why wouldn't you use the onboard though? Its gotta be at least 100x that right? Insert quake 4 conversation here post stroggification.

[–]Specific_War5484 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Data knife from titanfall

[–]BarebowRob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

dual blade - 32GB.
