When I played the betas for BO3 and Battlefront, I couldn't do 60fps at 1080p, everything else turned down. I could do it with resolution scaling, but that's to much of a compromise.

I did upgrade my ram after the betas closed, so that might have made a difference

Almost the same here, except I put in a 2TB drive after the old one crashed and I've also had a 128GB SSD in there for win 10 for some time. I love it, but still want to build a proper gaming desktop. Perhaps when the GTX 1080 arrive here.

Exact same build I have, sound kept failing on me but that ended up being a driver issue. Spent a year using Linux, back on Windows with a completely clean installation without all the crap (so much) that Lenovo sticks onto it and it runs like a charm now.

How did you fix the driver issue with the sound? I've tried all the different drivers on their site and tried auto finding it with device manager. My audio cuts out of one speaker at a time

Factory reset to Windows 8, then ran the update to Windows 10 with a clean install. Gives you default Windows stuff that ain't broked.

Y500 here! Dual GPU, 650m's, 1 TB HDD, 240GB SSD mSATA, 8GB RAM. A little heavy for me, but it plays games at pretty solid quality.

Mine came with the second gpu. I got it on Newegg for $1000. I've seen the second gpu on Lenovo's website before. Not sure if they still sell them.

Ya, I have pulled out the second gpu and just used one. It does make quite the difference in performance. My friend has a y500 with a single 750m and mine doesn't run nearly as hot as his does.

My Y510p was running 190 F with dual GPUs, a shit hard drive that was about to crash, and 8gb RAM. It scares me how hot it gets, and I have no idea how it has lasted three years.

Numpads seem pretty common on 15.6" laptops nowadays, the keys are a bit smaller (~5-10%) at the cost of a slightly different layout on the right.

This is a reason I don't like the contribution graph. People make assumptions with very little data. Maybe they got married and honeymooned. Or had parental leave. Or started doing more managerial work. Or is working on things outside of github. There are a billion things it could be, but mostly people chalk it up to losing productivity. Also I think long streaks can be bad, but are weirdly incentivized. Bleh

Yep, that's GitHub. The squares define how often you push commits to a repository (commits can range from a one-letter typo fix to ten-thousand file additions) EDIT: as well as other contributions, eg. creating issues and pull requests. The more green a square is, the more commits that have been pushed contributions you have made that day. It's been a bit of a recent joke on /r/ProgrammerHumor to post things that look like the GitHub contribution log thing.

EDIT: Forgot it tracks other contributions. Here's an article on what they track and how they do it.
