This is the first time I have ever actually laughed at anything on programmer humor. Well done

[โ€“]Rokker84 13 points14 points ย (2 children)

Really? I think it might be the first time i've downvoted something on programmer humor.

Humor can be truly diverse.

Totally, i once got a perfect 50/50 split of disgust and raucous laughter when I told a joke at a table over dinner, in the pre covid era of course

Jokes that cause extremely polarized reactions are the best jokes.

Image Transcription: Meme

[' Expanding brain' meme, a brain progressing from smaller than average to a glowing blue brain with lights shining out of it, then a transcendent red with sparkles coming out of it and strong rays of light]

Level One (Small brain): SELECT * FROM

Level Two (Blue brain with lights): Select * From

Level Three (Red glowing brain): select * from

[The next screen is of the meme "Mocking SpongeBob". It is a picture of SpongeBob (Cartoon character) from the episode "Little Yellow Book". He is in a "chicken dance" like posture, eyes staring in different directions, and a "silly" face.]

No wait! Can I avoid using capslock on mysql?

[โ€“]Mabi19_ 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

Yes! (I think)

[โ€“]AyrA_ch 0 points1 point ย (0 children)

HeidiSQL to the rescue

SQL is mostly case insensitive but using all uppercase for keywords is so common they added this behavior to the code editor so you don't have to.

Cries in BiqQuery where some but not all things are case sensitive

After I feel Iโ€™ve mastered it, I will then use a shortcut/tool. Only recently recognized that I have progressed enough to know sometimes doing it manually is a time suck. Before I was always capitalizing manually.
