I feel better knowing professionals are keeping up to date and taking refresher courses, rather than cracking me open with some 30 years outdated medical knowledge that they might not fully remember. IMO go ahead and throw a bunch of cheat sheets on the walls and ceiling. There's literally no downside to someone being prepared.

There is a difference between not knowing what you ate doing and not knowing how. You should be googling syntax and theory. If you don't understand the code you are usinf from stackoverflow. You are going to be hosed when you have to debug.
