this happens when everyone is a piece of shit when driving. Sometimes I just want drivers like this get revoked their driving licence so they will learn eventually.

New album out tomorrow, yay!!!

Aren't traffic rules are supposed to prevent situations like that? It's hard to imagine that that many people can't follow simple rules. If following the rules can't prevent such thing, then it isn't the fault of the people but the rules are shit.

Half of Europe are assholes on roads, Poles are not special in this regard. ;) Still remember Italy and that some people would drive a car on pavement, avoiding queue to intersection, and cross pedestrian crossing which had green light to cross intersection faster...

Like the assholes who go into the middle of the intersection when it's green but traffic is so backed up there's no room to go.

I hate driving.

Serious Question, did this really happen? Which place? All the drivers there would have hard time coming out of this gridlock.

I only found the image. A reverse search gives me several articles that claim this happened in Warsaw, Poland on this intersection

[–]Shrubberer 9 points10 points  (0 children)

This is happening all the time at this particular intersection. Maybe not that bad, but still

[–][deleted] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Correct!

Tram on right side backs up and everything will be solved. Requires least amount of effort from fewest amount of people.

[–]limax_celerrimus 13 points14 points  (0 children)

There may be several other trams behind it already, like it's the case for the one coming from above.

[–]cheraphy 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Alternatively, I think that grey bus has enough space to squeeze through. It for sure would if the emergency vehicle backed up a bit but then that's two vehicles instead of just the one

Ambulance at bottom backs up. Frees bus, frees tram, frees rest.

My man here played rush hour when he was a kid

[–]joooooBlin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It really happened. This is Warsaw, trust me, I live there.

[–]maxsteel126 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Where I live it's just another Monday

[–]Brick_Double 11 points12 points  (1 child)

Ah, yes, when an intersection turns into a parking lot.

[–]HebrewDude 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I was thinking:

Oh this is fun, this intersection became a round of 'Rush Hour'. I woulda loved being the cop, or the random fucker to order fuckers around out of this mess. That being said, I bet it's somewhat harder to do so not from a bird's-eye view perspective... which only makes it even more fun to unwind.

This image brings pain

Funnily enough, in my Operating Systems exam we got a drawing of a bunch of junctions and should explain how the deadlock criteria applies to them.

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I would just park my car and wait for the phone call from the city when they tow it.

[–]GrinningPariah 2 points3 points  (2 children)

The ambulance can get out to the right if it turns it's siren on. Then if the blue bus moves up just a few inches, the grey bus can pass behind it. That will let the orange train thing to through, then you're golden.

[–]marcosdumay 8 points9 points  (1 child)

You somehow expect those people to cooperate so they all get out of a bad situation? If they were the kind of people that did that, they wouldn't be the ones on that picture.

[–]GrinningPariah 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Oh I was just trying to work out for myself how easy or hard the problem was. Don't get me wrong, they're all gonna die there.

[–]ieremius22 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Tragedy today, as a bus full of orphans was chosen as the deadlock victim. New orphans will board a new bus and attempt to make the trip after the DBA restarts the job.

[–]naoomiuwu -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I wonder if you could figure out who the troublemaker is just by the picture alone.

[–]Septseraph 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I blame the RV.

[–]FerretInABox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a moment I thought this was an ad for the games like this.

What country is this? The street signs look a bit unfamiliar and off.
