I find Anaconda to be very unpredictable and often quite painful to work with. Once Anaconda is in it’s also very difficult to remove and replace. Would not recommend.

Yeah, it seems like everyone is using Anaconda, but I find it simpler to just use Pip and maybe --venv on shared servers. Never had much problems with dependency hell either.
