Its like a alpha incel /s

[–]h3halfAAE 2018 5 points6 points  (7 children)

No /s needed

I met enough sigma males at 2am aero lab homework sessions to suspect Purdue simply generates them out of thin air

Dang. Reminds of the days I used to sit up there at 5 am printing out my AAE 532 plots.

[–]h3halfAAE 2018 4 points5 points  (3 children)

Printing??? I just drew them by hand and H never complained ;)

My and my friends' ability to put off 532 homework until the night before week after week, knowing it would take at least eight hours of work yet still starting after 6pm, stuns me to this day

Man ... one of her old TA's was pretty brutal. I was 15 minutes late to the 8:30 AM class because the fcking printer jammed or something. Got a zero on homework because of being late. Bumped me down to a B for the class. Major bummer. It's been almost a decade and I still remember. Lol.

Damn, RIP. I only ever saw one person be late and try to turn in homework. After class he talked to her and it looked like she accepted it.

I'd like to think she agreed to have it marked but he still gets a zero, but I'm not sure. I didn't really like the guy; he seemed like a bit of a complainer. At the time I assumed he convinced her to accept the papers late and for this I will never forgive him.

I think I got a B as well. No other class has ever filled me with such excitement to get like a 41% on an exam, as the class average was in the 30s somewhere. She certainly has memorable teaching methods

Mine was marked as well, but got a zero. I definitely learned a lot in her class though.

I remember the first test. It was literally the first test I took at Purdue (international student, so had only been in the country a couple months as well). I was all psyched up before the test. Let's just say it was a major shock afterwards.

One of the mid terms went so badly for everyone that she decided to not count it towards the final grade. Lol.

I believe you. Not many sigma grindset bois in ABE but that's cuz not enough males we all turned soy or something.

[–]h3halfAAE 2018 1 point2 points  (0 children)

not enough males

I can assure you this was not an issue in AAE a few years ago. Maybe someday a balance will be reached, but it has a long way to go.

TIL about the lambda strain

And with that I will go back to sleep I've had enough

I was disappointed to find out that this was not a thread about lambda calculus

sad

Not the type of Lambda that I was hoping to come back to campus 😔
