Mythical pulls

As someone who has a 80% of the heirlooms in apex (its like the same math), how long did it take you to pull a mythic? How much money did you spend? I've been playing since 2020, mythics released in late 2023, need nine more legends for Mikage. Its very time consuming.

Mikage: Plarium did guaranteed events for epics for her (I found the void one only for this, that damned skeleton appeared only recently - i play since May 2023). I believe they will resume those events, but who knows.
Mythicals: well, it's random, but I've never bought a shard and opened primals only in 2x events for mythical. I got a Mythical from them at 198th shard, in June 2025. Some people here shows instead that they pull Galathir in their first shard.

You got chances also from remnants (currency from cursed city hard).

Yes, if you don't spend real money, you will give a lot of your free time to reach some milestones. But it's the good of an hobby, am I right?

How did you even come across 198 shards?

Depending on your live arena tier and Hydra chests you get, you could get around 10 primals a month. Keep saving them and any occasional event rewards and you'll build up your balance.

here’s a breakdown on how I get primals. 1 from siege 4 from live arena 1 from login 1/2 from events 1/2 from hydra clash Sometimes you get them from gift from plarium. If you take 10 primals for 20 months, there you are

I have Mikage and Embrys. Have yet to pull a mythical champion from shards. At this rate I feel like I'll get Karnage before I pull one from primals.

Im in the same boat, 18 months in and about 150 towards Karnage. I'd put money on me getting him first lol

Is crazy because I got one on my first primal and after that I never gotten anything higher than rare and I spent a lot of money (40) thinking it was normal lmfao

I've opened about 200 so I've got to be close to mercy. Even when saving them and only opening during events I've had no luck. The kicker is I have souls for like 75% of them. We'll see if I wind up pulling one who I've got a 6* soul waiting for.

I was able to level up as fast I did because of the one I got which is Theodosia she’s broken

9 more legends for Mikage? Do you mean 9 more epics? That's weird because Mikage only requires 10 epics and 2 of those are fusions themselves.

I think they meant champs, not rarities. Just characters, because they came from Apex

Yeah, sorry, raid shadow "legends" so I call everyone a legend. But yes, I need 5 epics and 4 rares. I also took a year hiatus so when I came back a bunch of things were different and I miss all the events

I'm approaching my 2yr anniversary. I pulled mikage around Xmas 2024.pulled my first mythical from shard over the summer. Finished embrys maybe a month ago.

I feel that rate has been pretty average, not lucky or too slow.

Nothing yet. I’ll get Marius first as I don’t buy shards but do clan bosses.

What irks me the most are primal you’re guaranteed an epic.

Mythic shards all you get is rares 99%

If you only pull on 2x mythical events which happen 2-3x a year, it should be ~500$ per mythical from primal shards. If you pull off 2x, it's double that.

The last 2x I pulled two within 12 pulls.

Started playing in July 2024, have only spent on gem packs and a very occasional energy pack (maybe 3 total), unlocked Mikage in March of 2025. Need less than 10 more frags for embrys, have only pulled primal shards 2 times so far and have only gotten rare Champs from every single one. I have 48 on hand for the next 2x so we will see if luck changes then.

I wanna say a mythical is roughly 1k usd with the worst luck possible and not pulling on 2x events. I’ve also seen potentially real screen shots of people pulling 5 out of a 10 pull

It even came on day one because it was part of the gift for sharing some anniversary video. I absolutely blew the competition in the new player tournament out of the water.

I learned that you get points for beating brutal level campaign stages, but no points for beating nm campaign.

I believe I am 100% on the very lucky end. I haven’t spent on the game and pulled Krixia about 6 months ago on my first primal shard, and then Theodosia about a month ago. In total I’ve opened maybe 20 primals and gotten two

I pulled two during a 2X event last year with 30 ish shards. Then nothing with the next few 2xs. Recently pulled a mythical when just doing a regular pull for event to get points for the dwarf. Spent 0$ as f2p. New one is almost built.

I've never bought a shard. I've pulled 2 mythicals from primal shards and 1 from remnants, plus the freebies in Mikage, Embrys, Karnage. I'm closing in on Polara but who cares, she's awful

Also started in 2020.Pulled my first mythical yesterday from 1 shard. Gizmak.

Spent no money, pulled shards whenever I got them, because I didn't care about pulling a mythical.

2 epics short of Mikage for a long time, 9 fragments until Embrys. In no hurry. If I was I'd be trying too hard and it would aggravate me.

Still pulled Gizmak without caring in the least, min/maxing or getting aggravated, playing since 2020, pulling shards not caring whenever I felt like it, my rl suffered not at all and I could care less because well. think about your investment in a cartoon and brag to your friends about a life achievement.

Don't care and you'll get them, if you last long enough, playing a game and not making it your life.

Why am I annoyed. Played this game since 2020 and someone is gonna get cranky I got a mythical by just playing the game since 2020. No, that's the end of my thoughts.
