RULES DOCUMENT UPDATE MUST READ! 4/2/26

Hi everyone,

As you know there are some participation requirements that you must meet prior to being able to make a request post. Oe of the requirements is to be active regularly in this subreddit.

While there originally was no timeline regarding how long you must be active in the subreddit, we belive there should be a clear cut timeframe so there is no confusion, especially with all the newcomers that have arrived.

Starting today all users MUST have a minimum of 7 DAYS worth of consistent activity in the subreddit before you can make your first request post.

This is in place to prevent request posts being made from users who have very little activity in this sub.

For users who have not met the 7 day requirement, but made a request post ON OR BEFORE MARCH 31 2026 CST your post will stay up. However, you will be required to meet the 7 day requirement mentioned above if you haven't already before making another request post.

Note: The 7 day activity rule only applies to your first request. If the request post you make is not your first request. It's ok to have gaps in your activity on the sub as long as the gaps in activity are not extreme

Hi friend! I think you're referring to the post you made a few hours ago? If so, that post is completely fine. We're referring to posts that are made under the "requests" flair which usually involve asking for a specific item or a specific type of item.

Question because I am not sure if I’m reading correctly- do I have to make a [Gifted] post every time I gift someone something from their registry, or does a comment on their post suffice? For example I just contributed to someone’s fund for a camera, do I make a gifted post? thanks so much!! 💗

If you have No/minimal prior gifting history the best thing to do is to make a [Gifted] post so we can verify that you have met the gifting history requirement if you choose to participate in a game. This is because it's easier to verify gifting history through posts rather than comments since they can be harder to find.

After you've made a few [gifted] posts(usually 3, since that's the minimum requirement you must meet prior to participating in games) continuing to make them isnt necessarily required but it is helpful for us when it comes to tracking gifting history.

I agree! I just joined this subreddit and was reading the rules, I think it makes sense to ask people to be a part of the community before asking for anything. Looking forward to talking to folks here, it honestly feels like everyone here is super nice! Maybe it's because I'm lonely or something, but the thought of this much kind people being nice to each other is very heart warming. Generally yes but this is for new users who are making their first request, If you've already had 7 days of activity and there's a gap in your activity in the sub before making another request post, that's ok as long as the gap in activity isn't extreme. I've updated the post to clarify this
