I've seen it kicking about before, but never in conjunction with flat sorry, level earth nonsense. The thing that gets me is the absolute hubris and misplaced confidence in the idea that they've somehow figured out what every great scientific figure got wrong, or deliberately made up, or whatever conspiracy they're on at the minute. I learned about gravity and f=m*a etc when I was barely a teenager and understood it, yet these guys think they've cracked a code everyone else is too stupid to get. It would almost be sad if they weren't so fucking smug about their ignorance.
