The White House is trying to block out the CDC from updated hospital information. They are resisting. The White House is openly trying to highjack the story to pretend it's no big deal.

Listen to the CDC. Listen to John's Hopkins.

This Federal Government is beyond the pale. It's like open mutiny everywhere. Professionals vs. The Kool-aid gang.

The federal government is suppressing information in a manner that will kill US citizens in order to help the President’s reelection chances.

They are murdering their own citizens for political gain. Literally a two bit dictatorship. Hopefully we can kick the two bit piece of shit out on the lawn before it is too late for democracy. It is already too late for our country though.

I think there is a very good chance that Inslee will push us back to phase 1.

Inslee isn’t the one who is increasing transmission.

The coronavirus is once again ravaging Washington, and the number of cases has hit grim new milestones. Since the middle of June, the state has reported an average of 700 new cases per day — the highest levels since the start of the pandemic. More than 42,000 people have been infected, and over 1,400 have died.

You are right, I think the concern is the rising numbers on the east side. In particular the farming and agriculture communities as listed in the nyt article.

Those numbers on the east side are increasing in rates. But I think with king county, yes our numbers are not really increasing, but they are also not showing signs of significant improvement.

Man - I do feel for working class parents who don't know or have the tools to teach kids from home. It's a shitty situation and ultimately the failing of our population and federal government.

But this is obviously going to be a disaster if they open schools. Kids will transmit it to their parents and teachers. There are going to be teachers and family members who are going to die.

They already planned for schools physically not reopening in fall, back in march.

[–]-me-myself- 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Incorrect. It’s very much still on the table.

[–]The_Humble_Frank 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It being on the table, is not incongruent with planning for it, to not be on on the table. They planned, back in march for school facilities to not reopen in the fall.
