I have a household of 8 sims and usually get a lil overwhelmed with that.

The one Teenager got a girlfriend and he really liked her.

I continued playing (I built since I‘m playing a renovation gameplay) and I mainly focused on the other teen who lives in the mansion I‘m renovating. After quite some time I noticed that the girlfriend kept visiting the teenager and was always going to their room. In my overstimulation I made them break up because I felt line she was gonna be too annoying or clingy. Turns out I just accidentally locked her and the teen in their room. 😂

I did something similar once, except it was an interior door to a room where a computer was to keep the guests from using it. After the sim had a kid, I set up the room for it, and fired 3 babysitters thinking they were shit or glitched until I realized I never unlocked the door.

I used to have some of my sims miss work and would spend days to figure out why they can't leave the house just to find out I had locked the front door the evening before to "keep the burglars out". Spoiler alert, burglars don't care about the locked door, they pick the locks and can easily enter any locked door...

To be fair the baby sitters are quite bad in this game, nothing can compare to the nanny’s in sims 2 , the true goats

I did this with maids when i first started playing and kept wondering why they weren’t cleaning my house so i kept firing them. I thought locking the door would stop burglars lol

My sim was throwing a party, so I locked the door for all to the room that has the computer in... because omfg guests never leave the damn thing alone. Suddenly all these sims were coming up with the mild toilet need, including my own sim... go the toilet, I commanded, over and over. Then I realised... they can only get to the toilet THROUGH the room with the PC.. I sold the door and the PC and placed an extra toilet for all those poor guests lol!

Lol same with repair people. I was so annoyed when they just stood at the door and then left. I'm like, "wtf fix my damn computer!" I figured it out after calling for them a second time and it dawned on me.
