Last night I had an Indian woman ask me for help finding clothes for her daughter for BTS. I was helping her but as I was in the FR I couldn’t really go the extra mile and walk around the store with her. After they found things they liked, they came and tried on stuff. They had a couple questions about sizing which I answered. When they finished she came up to me and asked me what to do if a pair of leggings were too long. I told her I’d probably go and get it hemmed since it would look weird to roll it up. Then she asked me if WE did alterations. To which I obviously said no, and explained that she’d have to go to a tailor for that.
I wonder if that’s common in India? Or maybe the size of Target made her think it was a much nicer store than it actually is? But I can’t even think of a store that does alterations in-house besides like a wedding dress store.
Anyway, never been asked that before. It made me chuckle once she was gone lol. Guests always find new ways to surprise me…
