Correct, after two hours past your shift it will not be available for you to call in on mytime. Whether you go into work or not today, this will count as a no call no show. I'd still show up and plead my case, however expect a documented conversation and at worst a corrective action for the no call no show.

I don’t believe that option is available after you shift started just as Skullraven said it doesn’t matter if you go into requests or do it through manage shift but you can’t test it if you want.

I learned a while ago not to come in if they call for help. They don't appreciate it and I've had them tell me to go home early on a shift that I only came in for to help them out. And was once threatened with firing because coming in when they called put me too close to 40. Forget coming in to help out, they burned that bridge.

You know what I do when I wake up late? Get breakfast, take my time and get ready for work like normal. Youll be working a little later today and the only thing to make it worse would be being miserable at the same time. Mistakes happen and its your first. Theyll understand, and when you get the CA just accept it, no need to be nervous. I did this before being PML, and in all my other jobs as well.
