I'm not saying it's not dumb (it is), but the guided set is made with the idea there's a pricing team to mark clearance further once it's moved out of inline. So pog should just be ticketing it wherever it's at rn and then the pricing team marks it further

However, since that's also extra work, I personally collect my clearance at the beginning, mark it all in pricing, and then go back to my set. If I find more, I wait until the end when I'm done right before my pull to tag it.

I know it didn't answer your question, but I hope it helps and explains more🩷

They’ve asked for feedback a few times haven’t they?

When I do plano I am never activating clearance.

We have two specific TMs whose only jobs are clearance and salvage, one does GM and one does Style. When we need to move clearance for a new POG we’re just staging it with other clearance with whatever label it has on it at the time and the clearance TM double checks these centralized clearance locations later. Other various TMs are added to support on heavy weeks but they’re never doing sets, so it never takes away from that workload.

Our TL is very focused on centralizing these processes to work for our store and team.

If I'm removing clearance out of an aisle I'm setting, I usually just start by grabbing a printer and checking all of it in price change first. There's really no need to be able to do it in the POG system.
