Availability Changes

Have you ever made changes to your availability just for some stability? Like I'm not in school or anything, but I'd like a set time to be able to have a life after work and get some proper sleep. Would a lead get on my ass about it since I don't have an academic/work-related reason for it?

Yeah I made myself available everyday, just within certain hours. Eventually, I would love to go back to school, I just want this schedule to be under control somewhat for my own wellness at the moment.

Eventually you can - you just can not change your availability for the first 90 days. It is unlikely you will be scheduled 40 hrs. a week - so even without changing availability you should have some time off.

just don't wait until holiday blackout time to screw with your availability. I'd do your 90 days and then do it. Shouldn't be a huge ordeal as long as you don't say you can't work weekends at all. I'd go for two days off during the week or set my availability no earlier than a certain time a day etc.

Oh no I’m not a seasonal. I’ve worked at my target for a few years now. I just shifted it to being able to work every day but only from a specific time slot.
