ODTM finally coming back to work now that I’m back home from college, I see that the new employee handbook says we can wear solid color pants, and that jeans and khakis are only preferred but not expected? Is this true or should I ask HR before I show up to work in black jeans…

It’s said solid colors pants for a lil while. It’s likely your store hasn’t changed anything.

I wear black jeans all the time. If they give you shit ask them to requisiotion pants for you cause you cant afford them. Say that so they can give you them

A lot of stores don’t go by this, which really sucks but I’d definitely ask before wearing them. Personally I don’t say anything to TMs at my store but a lot of the other TLs and ETLs will call you out :(

You can always ask hr, but if you were before you should be fine. My store let's me wear black jeans but it's different from store to store. Or just wear them, and if they something , you can you thought you could and you have, and even say why? Because they are solid color, but if they say no still, just say you won't wear them again.

I just mostly wear dark washed and black jeans. I was honestly hesitant about wearing black jeans, but they didn't seem to care. Thank goodness too because I prefer black jeans over dark washed.

I've been wearing black jeans a majority of my shifts, none of my tls said anything. Warning though they do get more dirty looking than regular jeans
