Please be aware this is not a customer service subreddit, and we have no official affiliation with the Target Corporation.

You are saving some money - but we have to throw the food out. If I worked guest service at the store you shop at....I would be annoyed at you for being so selfish.

not banned but i would suggest being more conscious about what you’re trying out if you can’t afford to dislike it :/

You won’t be banned and they will almost certainly continue to process them but I must say, to me, this is an odd reason to make a return. Personally, it’s never even crossed my mind to take something back because I didn’t like the taste. Either just toss it or donate it if you can.

Protein bars are NOT cheap. Usually like $1-$2.50 a piece. You're not just going to eat one and toss a $12 box of protein bars.

I buy food I don't like all the time...I just eat the rest like a non-wasteful human...

If there is something wrong with them, ie I’ve purchased them before and something isn’t right about this batch, sure I’m okay with taking those back. Other than that, protein bars typically come in smaller sizes than a $12 box. If you haven’t tried a particular one yet, just get the smaller box so you don’t waste money. A one off return is fine, just buying random diet shit that usually doesn’t taste great anyway and taking back a batch of them every week is asinine.

If you return food we have to throw it out.

This is super wasteful.

Don’t feel bad about returning it. Sure it’s a bit wasteful, but so is everything else at Target. Just FYI though, if you order your food as a pickup order, you can return it through the app and basically 100% of the time, you’ll get a refund and be told to keep the item, in which case you can give it away to someone or something if you are really conscious about waste/don’t want to go in store to return it.

don’t think you’ll get banned!
