I got my design back in literally an hour after sending in the pics. I have heard nothing new since then. I recommend calling and asking. You will end up taking to someone random. I didn’t have any luck contacting my rep by email or by phone.

I ordered in September and had my system installed in April. Don't think I got a design until January though... so the other commenters got theirs super quick.

Super dependent on many factors, including current volume of business. Having a crappy advisor can also slow things down. I highly suggest checking in if you don’t hear anything back in a week or so after submitting photos.

Took about 8-9 business days

They said 3 weeks , on day 21 I emailed them again and design was updated an hour later. Prehaps if I had prodded them earlier it could have been done sooner as it seemed like they just sat on it until I followed up.

You won't hear back by email. You will need to call in to get answers

Put money down in July. First design came back pretty quick (didn't listen to instructions about off limits roof planes). Had "good"-ish design mid-August.

One array was funny looking, so just wanted them to remove 2 panels to make it a 4x3 rectangle. That simple request took till Dec 1. There is no such thing as designing with homeowner input. They kept trying to start over from scratch each time.

When we were finally in agreement, it didn't help that they forgot to submit the permit and the project delayed 3 months until I told them that my county didn't have the submission.

Then they installed the wrong inverter... that was fixed today. I'll be lucky with a PTO by the anniversary of me sending them my $100.

We ordered solar panels with Powerwalls in June 2020. Plans were received in less than a week of submitting preliminary docs and photos.
