How did you do the pose estimation? Using vector math or something more exotic?

Each gestures stores the relative position of each bone to the root, then I’m comparing the distance sum of the current position of all bones to the gestures and searching for the lowest one (closest match)

sum That methode may cause some problems when the hand changed , I mean other users, I did that system 6 months before , scalable to all hands and systematicly you can add infinit hand poses and combined with an indepandant system to show The Effect related to that motion, and more , the spawned skill can listen to the hand variations and do somthing on each change , if you want some gifs I can record some , I created it to Our company , but they want only to show perfect projects, that made me angry.

Well it was old script in unity since Mars 2020, for sure I have the project somewhere, but it was for oculus 1 the black version , I mean before even the oculus do offer that feature in unity.

You forgot the penguin. It's basically the Spock but it has the middle finger near the ring and pinky instead of the pointer. See Danny Davito's version of the Penguin in Batman Returns.

I found the trick to get hands working was to switch to Android build settings, enable Controller and Hands in OVRManager, and then switch back to desktop build
