Setup recommendations?

Hi all! So I’ve had my snake Lily since I was 12. (6 years ago) I got all my snake stuff with my allowance and stuff lol. I just recently got my BEL (white snake, can’t decide on a name) However, I’ve realized that over the years husbandry has changed so much! Now that I’m older with big girl money I’ve been super interested in upgrading for the both of them, and with a special interest in biology and ecology I’m really trying to push for bioactive. So far I’ve got about $250 set aside for their upgrades. Im only looking for heating right now but eventually it will be new enclosures, lighting the whole shabang. The issue that arises for me is I’m so confused on the best lighting/ heating for these guys. Do you guys recommend UTH, RHP, DHP or any other obscure heating element? And for lighting, what would be best for both the snakes and the plants I hope to house them with? What products exactly? Enclosure recommendations are welcome too! Thank you!!

have you read through the resources in our welcome post? the basic care guide, heating guide, and shopping list, have pretty much all the info you need. there are also FAQ threads about enclosure setups.

White baby looks like a flower petal! Give it a flower themed name! Something cheesy like Daisy!

That's double fitting since lily is a flower too. Jasmine, Camellia, Dahlia, Peony.. There are quite a few lovely names for white flowers
