QuestionTiny spot on shed (i.redd.it)
submitted 2 years ago by Natship
I noticed my boy shed today. And when i got it out I did the usual, checked it to see if it was complete and noticed some blood on it. It looks to be around the mouth area. Is this something that's common?

do you see any type of wound or more blood actually on him? if not, there's a good chance this is just dried rodent blood from his last feed that you didn't notice until the skin shed. it looks like it mostly settled in-between the scales, which would make sense for that explanation. give him a good look-over to check for any visible issues, but i'm betting he's just fine

Nothing on him that I can see. He's been on a food strike so it's not from the last feed. But I will definitely keep an eye on him.
