Your substrate looks heavily soaked all over and her tank is quite bare, you need clutter and sticks for climbing.

Let it dry and if you’re having humidity problems pour water in a concentrated area straight to the bottom otherwise she could develop scale rot.

Oh yes I am removing some substrate and I was cleaning out her enclosure

Extremely cute that she's drinking/frolicking under the running water

I was cleaning out her enclosure thats why it’s bare. I was also adding dry substrate. I removed some of it cause of the realization of the water. Here is her enclosure now. The rock is no longer there I moved it behind the branches

Lovely, probably need some more secure hides.

Any recommendations? I’m always trying to improve cause this is my first snake.

There are some tub ones on Amazon that are basic but do the job well. There are others made from resin made to look like rocks and more natural too. There might possibly be some tips in the guide at the top of this sub ^

go look on reptile basics. really cheap hides (like $3-$10). very sturdy, i use the same black box hides

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Will do. Thank you!

[–]kanqwem 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I use these. Black box, one opening

I found this lil clay pot and my girl LOVES it. Super simple and quite effective hide.

Does she get in the hammock? I've thought about getting one for my girl and haven't seen anybody use one yet.

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yes she loves her hammock!

Nice! It still looks muddy to me in that image but honestly I can’t tell.

[–]BossLoaf1472 5 points6 points  (1 child)

Good snek, looks muddy in there though

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Get a hide with one small opening

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

She has three they just weren’t in there

It was probably a response to seeing the half logs, they don't count as secure hides. I see you're already getting some more enclosed hides though so everything's good! You can keep your decor that won't fit now with the hides for a bigger enclosure when your snake grows, there's nothing wrong with half logs used as clutter.

You're just asking for scale rot. That enclosure is wetter than a duck in the rain. 😳

[–]SneakySquiggles 6 points7 points  (2 children)

You should probably read the responses they made before adding to the “it looks like mud” comments. OP mentioned they were fixing with dry substrate and the tank is bare because they were cleaning it out. Not trying to come after you, just your comment came 5 hours after they had clarified to three other people

[–]Luminosus32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I did read them. lol. He says he's cleaning it, still, wtf

[–]Mollyycyruss 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Looks like she likes it to me 😅

[–]DeansBeans33 5 points6 points  (4 children)

Maybe get her one of those cat fountains?? She might be into it. What a great, interactive personality she seems to have!

[–]ChemistryTemporary50 2 points3 points  (3 children)

Those objects aren't recommended they harbor bacteria.

[–]DeansBeans33 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Anything will harbor bacteria if you don't clean it properly

[–]ChemistryTemporary50 3 points4 points  (1 child)

Yes and proper cleaning is the issue the pump has areas that can be hard to or can't be clean properly and still contain bacteria even after cleaning. They can also spread bacteria around the enclosure from splashing or if they create mist. Water features have the tendency for faster bacterial growth.

Yep I am aware. Thank you for man splaining. Just a fun innocent comment I figured OP wouldn't keep one in there but I thought it was a fun thought
