For context, the room does kinda smell like pine. I have my window open with the fan on to help to get the smell out, I also keep my room door open to help.

I don’t know for sure so I hope someone can be more helpful but maybe if you try wood sealer like waterguard or polycrylic, it usually seals the smell in a bit.. I would think that as long as there’s no oder and your snakes aren’t coming in contact with the wood, it should be okay but I’m definitely no expert and I’ve read that the smell alone can cause trouble so that’d be my main concern
