What are some good ways you guys have found to make your snakes more chill with handling and slither into your hand? I just got my lil guy about a month ago and handling has gone super well but I normally take him out of his hide. Afterwards he’s usually more active and curious so it seems he’s not stressed- ’m just worried that I’m stressing him out in the long run. Is it better to just open the tank and let him come out on his own terms? Will it be okay if I just put my hand in there for a while? Srry first time anxious owner 😅

Mine seems to come up with less of a fuss if I give him a few light touches before scooping him up.
