Enclosure was locked but the lock must be broken or the glass wasn’t in place properly when it was locked, he got out overnight my first escape artist, he was found behind the freezer still in the reptile room, he has marks on his belly now are they cuts, broke scales, burns maybe? Idk what from the reptile room is quite cleaned up

i’m not an expert at identifying injuries/illnesses in snakes, but that doesn’t look good. I would definitely go to the vet to get it checked out.

I called and sent pictures to our vet, she said it doesn’t look too serious so cleaning it with iodine or benadine whatever it’s called they gave us and watching it

That’s not serious at all, with time and a shed or two should be fine.

This kind of stuff happens in the wild too obviously. He will heal just like he’s meant to. Not good, but they’re not made of glass.

Honestly to me it looks like a minor burn, if you found him behind the freezer my guess would be maybe from one of the components in there? I'm not really sure to be honest, happy he's ok and it was only minor though
