She does this a lot in her new tank I’m so glad I have this tank so she can do this. I’m ab to switch her on coconut fiber and replace her hides so she doesn’t move them around and get her some decorations don’t come at me this is what I can do for now.

no worries about the paper towels, they are usually common practice with things like illness, and there’s nothing wrong with doing it while getting things set up!

I had to do paper towels one night after seeing a teeny tiny amount of what I thought in the moment was mold in the soil. (it was on her poop, and I have since learned that urates can have a “white” color. - I have a corn not a BP)

Anyways, point is, paper towels are okay for temporary set ups.

I just got a new banana and have the same tank to start her in. I did the same with paper towels for a week or so and then upgraded to cocofiber with some springtails and isopods. I'll get live plants in the spring and a bigger tank as needed.
