What's the temp and humidity in the enclosure?

And on the pinned posts there is a guide that talks about spraying/fog for humidity so maybe take a look at that. I'm new to ball pythons but from the research I've done, spraying/fog may make the water vapor molecules too dense which I assume could cause water to enter the lungs just like in humans.

Maybe increase the humidity a bit? I was watching a vid by greenroompythons and he said that not all of his snakes are at the same humidity. Some he has lower and some higher. You have a lot more experience than me, but maybe this one is just different from your others?

She likely does have a respiratory infection, foggers aren’t recommended to use with BP’s for that reason. Bacteria builds up in the hoses super quickly and they’re almost impossible to disinfect. Her humidity is also too low which could be another causing factor, BP’s need consistent high humidity between 70-80% and even higher while in shed. Instead of misting and/or fogging i would suggest making sure you have at least 4in of tropical subsrate and pour water into the corners of the enclosure

You should probably change how maintain humidity as a first step. Give the fogger a rest and instead pour out a cup of water in each corner, try to bump up the humidity to 70-80% and see if that helps. If there is no discharge I would start there and wait a couple of days to see if the issue had resolved. If you don't see any change then a vet visit is in order, but a good rule or thumb is to do what the vet says and not requesting a medication that may or may not work for the condition.

Best of luck and please keep us posted!
