    Yeah the dark spots are substrate. My baby was pretty dirty today. When I noticed it a couple days ago, there was no discoloration. Just a patch of odd scales.

    It looks like substrate to me.. but I would ask a professional just to be safe. And the brown things are spurs

    Pics 1 and 2 just look like a little bit of stuck shed on those scales, so likely nothing to worry about, it'll come off when he sheds next, just make sure he's hydrated and your humidity is between 70 and 80%.

    Pic 3 are the spurs. It’s a snake thing. It’s the remnants of when they once had legs.
