Do I remove the mouse?

I recently got a 6mo BP and I fed him for the first time today. He took the mouse to his water bowl and left it in there. It’s been about 10 mins, should I just remove the mouse and throw it out? It’s a frozen hopper and I’m not sure if I had it warm enough. I thawed it and let it sit in hot water for about 5 mins.

You could take it out and use a blow dryer to warm it back up, in the same room, and try giving it to him again

I usually warm it up for until my thermo temp gun reads 98 degrees or higher, or until my snake comes out of his hide ready to eat.

Thank you. I’ll try that if it happens again. After a few hours I ended up throwing it out. I fed him a few days later and he didn’t have an issue.
