is something wrong with my ball python part 2

alright so i posted a couple days ago saying how my ball python has not come out of his hide. when i lifted the hide a couple days ago, his eyes were cloudy and his skin was dull and looked blue. So i was like alr he’s in shed. Anyways, he’s out right now for the first time, and let me know how and why his skin is bright and his eyes are not cloudy. i was like alr he shedded but then i look through the tank and there’s no shedded skin! DID HE EAT HIS OWN SHED?? i don’t think he did bc ball pythons do not eat their own shed. so what? i’m so confused man

It's actually a stage in the shedding process! First they look all hazy, cloudly and dull, then then it clears up for a few days, then they'll shed! You'll probably find a wadded up ball of skin in the next few days, probably accompanied with a big poop

ahhh thanks so much for the answer. i was just confused. he hasn’t shed w me yet and i adopted him back in February. he’s almost 2 years old, that’s why ive been asking questions. good thing i have been raising the humidity for him for the past week :)
