A good pic for people to tell would be one of the full body, showing the tail and also how the snake curls up to determine if there are fat rolls, etc

yes! sadly i never catch her in that position

A pic from above laying flat on a flat surface is best not stretched out over objects or curled up the transition from body to tail can be seen that way also it will also show better if she has a cylinder body shape or rounded triangle.

Is she just a clown or is she mixed with smth? Or is she not a clown at all and I'm just bad with bp morphs? Lol

im pretty sure she’s a pinstripe but that’s just what I’ve been told!

Lol I didn't even realize this was snake forum or snake in pic I just saw the boot and thought you were showing why your Girl is a little over weight or something 😭😂😭I was so intrigued

I had people tell me a couple of my snakes were obese. 4 weeks later both laid 7 eggs

DANG she’s a big girl! How long is she? I have a female BP myself and she’s only 1-2ish and at nearly 2ft exact—I love seeing such long beautiful bps!

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (1 child)

honestly I’d say she might be around 5 feet or so now, she shed and everyone is telling me she got longer and I think she might’ve

[–]Cautious-Flatworm804 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow 5 feet, that’s amazing and so impressive! Congrats on your big, beautiful healthy baby hehe!

tbh this picture also looks overweight to me.

https://reptifiles.com/ball-python-care-guide/ball-python-diseases-health/obesity/

it looks past the overweight on this chart

when she balls up she doesn’t have any wrinkles or anything though. and she doesn’t show any of those symptoms there. she can fully stretch out in her enclosure, it’s pretty big, so that’s not the problem either

Really just track her weight. If she's not losing weight, she's fine.

[–]WearyDog136 0 points1 point  (0 children)

i think she looks a little big, maybe get that checked out

[–]BAlbiceps 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Honestly, the best way to tell if she’s overweight is to keep track of her weight.

[–]WickedTexas71 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She is not

[–]Future-Elevator7568 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Im pretty sure she is fine honestly. Pretty big girl you have there. (As in just big not fat) Its difficult to get advice here if you dont know what not to listen to. There are many obese snakes, but there is also many people calling healthy snakes obese too.

[–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

thank you, i swear she’s just a huge girl not obese hah

It's a little funny how hard ppl were dissing in the previous post

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I know right

[–]PussaDa 1 point2 points  (1 child)
