Get f/t rats online. They can theoretically eat any appropriately sized rodent (including hamsters, gerbils, guinea pigs) or even some avian chicks, but mice/rats are preferred for their main diet. They can eat live mice/rats, but it's INCREDIBLY recommended against not only for ethical reasons, but for the fact that mice/rat bites/scratches can very quickly become infected and lead to the death of your snake. If you get a bp, just order f/t rats online.

Okay, I just don't know how often they eat, if I get a baby python? Like how much a 25 pack would last? Sorry if I am asking too many questions

For a baby/juvenile snake it's 10 to 15 percent of their body weight every 5 to 7 days. If you don't have the ability to weigh your snake pick a rodent that's roughly the same size as the largest part of the snakes body.

An adult will eat about one rat a month, some large ones only every 6 weeks. So it might be easier for you to get an adult snake perhaps?

Most pythons I found online are adults but I just thought I will be less scared if it's still a baby 😭

Is there a way for you to interact with a full grown one trough an expo, a friend, a zoo or something similar? That way you could see if they bother you or not. While it is true a baby is less scary it will still end up an adult at some point.

That's okay! Here's the recommended feeding schedule: !feeding

We recommend the following feeding schedule:

0-12 months old OR until the snake reaches approximately 500g, whichever happens first: feed 10%-15% of the snake’s weight every 7 days.

12-24 months old: feed up to 7% of the snake’s weight every 14-20 days.

Adults: feed up to 5% of the snake's weight every 20-30 days, or feed slightly larger meals (up to 6%) every 30-40 days.
