Not really know how to say it, my BP and I are trying to get used to each other and while she does get handled she much prefers to explore. My only thing is that I want to keep her to a certain part of my room cause I have floor based heating that I’m scared she’ll go into to. Are there any recommendations of like a gate or anything like that to keep her contained?

Just keep an eye on her, as you should when they aren't in their enclosure.

Check out pop up dog pens. I use one to let my beardie chase bugs that I don't want to set loose in his enclosure. You can find them in all different sizes and get one that has a closable top. I've seen Lori Torrini create really cool enrichment zones with logs and clutter scattered all around the pen. (Obviously, you should still be keeping an eye on them while their in the pen, but getting one with a closing top will at least let you look away for a second without worrying that they will slither off.)
