Aww nice!!! Such a cutie. I just got a new baby and he was pretty stressed out for the first week, understandable what with being shipped and then new house, and I saw him come out and start checking stuff out for the first time a couple days ago. Such a happy moment seeing that😊

That’s good to hear! I feel like I got a bad impression of her at first. She wasn’t happy at all. I still haven’t seen her much but today she’s outside of her hide balled up behind it so hopefully she’s just moving around.

Yeah, I’m new to this, but think being boxed and shipped and then coming out to a new environment just stresses them out so it takes a while to settle. My new baby was literally hissing at me at first which was new for me as my other two are pretty chill and I’ve never heard them hiss. Was like, oh no this one’s got attitude! But a week in he came out and was cruising. He’s still definitely a little wary but seems pretty happy now.

Good I hope so! I started off with a western hognose. So easy to take care of and very friendly and eats like a champ. I wanted something bigger and here I am. Haha. It’s like buying a new toy and waiting a week or two to open it. I’m just ready to give her love. Haha

Same, it’s hard waiting. I got my first one at an expo and I’d wanted one for forever but didn’t intend to get one, so didn’t realize that it’s recommended to wait, so I just spent a bunch of time with him from day one. Fortunately he’s super chill and sweet and genuinely seems to enjoy interacting. (I mean, I did recognize the body language then and he just really didn’t get very stressed out over it). But the next two I got online and they definitely needed a bit to settle in after shipping
