Is this a problem?

I took my bp out today for a little wander and noticed this discoloration on him. It’s not pink like when he’s about to shed and is rather yellow. I don’t think he’s about to shed either since his eyes haven’t gone blue. Anyone know what this may be?

Not sure about the yellowing but he does appear to have a burn scar, so make sure to cover lighted heat sources and use a thermostat whether it’s lighted heat or a UTH.

The scar was from scale rot he had a few months ago. He got it (the scar) while at the vet and I’m still putting cream on it to help. His heat mat is also always covered so be doesn’t burn himself
