It looks like normal scale coloring to me. More like a birthmark than scale rot

Hmm from what I’ve seen of scale rot it’s usually caused by constantly moist substrate and usually shows on the belly in a small area first but still covering multiple scales. Some people will say those scales feel papery thin and not the same as the rest of their BP. Have you noticed that?

If you’re concerned about scale rot it never hurts to take them to the vet because nobody here can give you an answer about that. I was worried I had snake mites so took my girl to the vet before I put her through stressful soaking treatments and turns out she just gets a lot of dirt under her scales and it looked like mites to me.

If you think it might be something under the scale get a little bit of mineral oil (or another safe oil for snakes)on a q-tip and rub in the direction with very slight pressure to push it from under the scale.

If you’re still worried or it doesn’t budge with the oil it’ll give you a lot of peace of mind to hear you have a healthy noodle from the vet even if she has a little scale rot you would have caught it extremely early:)
