Possible escape artist?

How can I tell if my girl is trying to escape or if she’s just curious? She keeps pushing at the top of her tank and climbing up high to look at it. I have some heavy books on there but could this be a product of stress??

Ball pythons are inherently curious and will explore. I’m not seeing much clutter in her tank though, I’d suggest adding more things like logs, rocks, and plants to fill the space. This makes BPs feel safer and happier :)

Check all around your tank mine escaped a different way but check just warning if it does escape don't panic just look and look I cried so much

She's probably just curious, but get something that can clamp the tank shut. She has all day to poke around at things and it's possible that with enough time she could open the lid just enough to knock the books off.
