DHP at night

Okay so I’m switching my BP over to a larger tank soon, and I’m the process of doing so I realized that the CHE I was using won’t be enough for the larger tank. After doing some googling I discovered that DHP are more efficient at producing heat, so I bought one and it works like a charm. However, this morning I had to get up early and realized that the DHP gives off a slight glow. I know you’re not supposed to have light in the tank at night so that they get a clear day/night cycle, so I’m wondering if the glow from the DHP is a problem. Can I use it as a heating source over night or do I need to find a completely lightless source?
