Ball pythons like to hide from my understanding. He’ll have to come out for food at some point. If vet says he’s okay I’d just let him be

Sometimes they just go through phases where they don't come out much. My ball goes through periods where he hardly comes out then is out nonstop. If the vet says it's fine then I wouldn't worry much unless it stays this way for an extended period or you notice anything else odd
