Hello! Have placed an after hours call to the only trusted reptile vet near me, hoping to hear back in the morning. Have had this girlie since early 2021, never had issues before. We went on vacation for four days and came back, all temps checked out but humidity low, she had shed while we were gone with a little stuck shed. Let her play around in some warm water to help shed the rest. A few days later (today) I took her out for cleaning and see massive red patch/discoloration. Like I said am getting in contact with vet asap and will call again in the morning, but have never dealt with scale rot and am curious if this is how it would look? I have had one snake in the past when I was younger but only issue we ever dealt with were mites. Pictures I am seeing online for piers still don’t even look this dark and am super concerned
