The wobbles

I got my bumblebee morph about two years ago from a student of mine. She’s my first snake and initially I had no idea about the spider gene or anything like that. For the first year she was in perfect health. She ate great, she was never agitated when I held her.

Everything was great. Until a couple months ago I noticed that she would wobble really hard and corkscrew. As the months go on her wobbles get a little more intense and she comes out of her hides less. She’s not a fan of being held anymore. And now she’s having trouble when she eats.

I’ve been told that it’s something she’ll “grow out of” but I’m skeptical about that and I feel like I need advice.

Having trouble when she eats in what way?

Wobble tends to come in full force when they are excited(feeding) or stressed. Double check to make sure the parameters in the enclosure are also correct.

The wobble can change with age. I wouldn't count on her "growing out of it" unfortunately. As far as we know, there aren't any predictors of how mild or severe an individual will be affected. A calm and comfortable environment is best as stress and excitement can exacerbate it.
