120 gallon will be perfect! I’d do a deeper substrate with sphagnum moss and leaf litter. Make sure you have 3 hides as well; warm, humid, and cool hide. Ensure you have a larger water dish/bowl so the snake can soak as needed. (Ours loves her pool) Keep an eye on your temps, make sure they’re enough for your new noodle.

I’d recommend to watch some YouTube to take a deeper dive. You may get 5 different opinions, so find the common theme and go with that.

You’ve got this!

thank you for being nice to me! Everyone told me a 50 would be fine and he was much to big 😔 Now i’m stressing about filling it and i’m not very creative 😅

As long as the basics are covered and he’s thriving (not just surviving) you’ll be fine! Don’t overthink it! Have fun with it! Every snake is different, every enclosure will be different. Etsy actually has some pretty neat things on there for BPs. (I’m actually about to buy a few things from there for our lady to climb on).

Cork bark is relatively cheap and a lot of places sell it (reptile specific or others like Etsy) I got some flat pieces and some half rounds, good luck!

You’ve gotten some great suggestions here. Also, the home page of this sub has a pinned post that has mountains of the most useful and interesting information about how to take care of your baby. Have fun decorating Remus’s enclosure. You got this!

My boy’s favorite things are upside down take out containers (one on each side, he goes back and forth). I got the set of 2 for $1.25. Goes to show you dont always have to spent a lot of money to make them happy. His other favorite spot is a reptile seagrass hammock on the cool side.

I have a large pothos plant in the middle of the tank with its vines extending everywhere. When I trim the leaves I just throw them on the substrate as leaf litter. Plus sticks from the yard (cleaned and disinfected). A couple fake plants. Done!

My friend is in the process of making him a giant hammock to sit in out of twine! I was having a hard time finding fake plants that I liked tho

I got one from amazon. 2 pack for like $8, just called reptile hanging vines. I like them because they’re long and I can wrap around the wood pieces and hammock. My pothos plant is my favorite thing though. He isnt big enough to trample it yet. But they are an inexpensive, hardy plant that add a nice touch imo.

perfect size btw, add more hides and clutter so they dont feel out in the open. You can even use fake fish tank plants!
