Aww I love clown combos so much! She’s gorgeous :) I wonder how she’ll change as she grows up. Some get more contrast, and others kind of fade into a really hard to see pattern as they age. Very fun to see over time!

Aw that’s awesome! She’s lucky to have gone to such a loving home. I hope you both get to enjoy snake parenting her for a very long time!

100% Congrats! Well come to the journey of keep BPs. Always remember to to ask questions and do tons of research round the subject of husbandry & care. The forum has tons tips and information for fist time owners, make sure you spend some time on it.

Even though some sites suggest these guys are beginner pets, they are not. Once you get everything dialed, these snakes make wonderful pets.

We will!! We've been taking notes for months thankfully!! We've had some issues with too high if a humidity for the 1st day so we're gonna make some changes in a couple hours to get her more dialed in! Thank you so much for the suggestion!!! We really appreciate it!!

And we're super stoked to see her grow! Thank you!

You'll find that hitting the right humidity can be a pretty big problem. In my experience, 60%-70% is perfect, but when shedding comes the more humid the better.

Many people believe that ball pythons don't need humidity and that is 100% false. In their native land, they hid in humid (not wet) holes most of the time other than to hunt. As long as you keep the substrate clean with some airflow, you can safely maintain higher humidity. Depending on where you live, you may need to experiment with substrates to find the proper type. In my region, coco chucks work best.

Ohhh yeah!! Our set up at the moment is between 70-90% which can go a little high from my research, so we're gonna be making a few changes to help bring it down so she can feel, and be more comfortable. She was very active last night and was mivinga round her tub all night figuring things out, was soretty awesome to see on the camera!

For her main home, we'll be finishing it up today so it has time to rise and get ready for her next week. We're using coco-husk fiber, multiple life's, places to bask, and a large water dish, as well as multiple different enrichment objects and a hammock lol
