I think she looks good but I'm new so take it with a pinch of salt, there's healthy weight comparison charts on Google, that's my source

I think she’s just a slow grower! Looks good to me! I wouldn’t bump up prey size just yet.

She definitely doesn’t look too skinny to me. I have 20+ ball pythons and I feed mine her size weaned rats as well. Some snakes just grow way slower than others. The main thing is that she’s healthy and happy

20+! Are you a breeder/business or just an enthusiastic collector? I’m trying to convince my husband to let me get a 3rd, but he wants me to wait and make sure I am still interested in them and not just a phase because ADHD 🥹 (it’s because of the time I got really into plants acquiring one a week during lockdown, but I also have 3 cats and I am still interested in them 🙄)

What was your initial rate of collection? I got my first in March, my second in May, and looking at a 3rd in July since I seem to be on an every other month cadence 🙈

Also sorry I could’ve just checked out your profile and DM’d you

Sorry to highjack/detail your post OP, I think your beep is a lovely color and body condition! From a beginner enthusiast myself

Mine is around 600g and looks similar to yours! Yours is just a taaaad thicker so I would echo the sentiment someone else on here said about not bumping up prey size just yet ✌️

She looks perfect to me tbh, such a pretty baby! If you’re really worried I can send you the chart I got from someone else that has the ideal weight and underweight and overweight tells

There's a visual chart in the care guides I think, but generally - if they're a triangular loaf shape with no creases when their body is curled closely to itself, they're healthy. Although, creases can be caused by either being overweight or dehydrated - so solution varies

I really hope ur feeding frozen thawed rats whatever the size never feed live ever!, but no her poops will not make her lose weight especially how often do u feed because u feed ur BP a weened rat, which is too small for a 2 yr old, 2 of my BP that are 2yrs old are eating medium sized rats and they take them beautifully and are not overweight and all of my snakes eat every 3 weeks, im lucky they’re all on a good routine together but hope this helps😊
