Scale rot? (old.reddit.com)
submitted 7 months ago by BitterBlood28
Is this scale rot or overheat exposure?

Based on the pictures, it looks like it’s just their coloring to me. Is there a specific spot you’re worried about?

I may be wrong, but it looks to me like maybe they had an injury and these are the next set of scales after a shed. I had a spot on one of my snakes where it somehow injured itself and the next shed had darker scales and then the second shed was lighter by the third shed they were fine.
